Hi, I am Victor Nebbiolo Di Castri, an Italo-French composer and sound designer, born in 1989. I have a classical music background, having studied violin and piano since 1995. I focused in composition and electronic music at the Venice Conservatory starting in 2009. I engage in recordings, performances, and audiovisual installations, emphasizing sound organization through technological and generative methods. In 2011, I co-founded and am currently directing Pase, a platform for music experimentation and research, significantly contributing to the contemporary music scene in Italy and Europe. I collaborate widely with notable musicians and artists, and have featured in major venues like the Venice Biennale Musica and Palais de Tokyo in Paris. I live and work between Paris and Venice, also advising on sound spatialization and marketing strategies for companies and institutions.

My journey into the world of music began in 1995 when I started studying violin and piano. From 2009, I dedicated myself to composition and electronic music, pursuing studies in Composition and New Technologies at the B. Marcello Conservatory in Venice. I work collaboratively on recordings, musical performances, and audiovisual installations, involving microphones, machines, and algorithms, mathematical rules, random operations, and generative systems. My artistic practice is inspired by the complexity and richness of contemporary music and the relationship between space and sound in exploring new technologies.

In 2011, alongside Valeria Zane, I co-founded Pase, establishing it as an independent platform and research center for artistic and musical experimentation in Venice. Since its inception, Pase has evolved into a pivotal hub for contemporary music creation, research, and dissemination across Italy and Europe. Over the years, I have coordinated artistic residencies, advanced masterclasses, conferences, concerts, and collaborative events with conservatories in Venice, Padua, and Paris, IUAV University, and international

partners such as the EMAP platform (EU), Institut Francais (FR), British Council (GB), Opéra National de Paris (FR), Proforma (UK), and many others, supporting both the local and international creative communities in pushing the frontiers between contemporary creation and new technologies.

Through these experiences, I have collaborated closely with renowned musicians, composers, and artists such as Julian Scordato, Agostino di Scipio, Alvise Vidolin, Marco Fusi, Pierluigi Billone, Davide Gagliardi, Paul Ramage, Dario Tronchin, Julien Deprez, Alvise Sinivia, Furtherset, Rainy Miller, Marco Juan Lavandier, Andrea Ventimiglia, Francesco Inverno, Pierpaolo Ovarini, Riccardo Sellan, Xavier Veilhan, Robert Henke, Andrea Vecchiato, Giulia Semenzato, Luca Ventimiglia, Ata Ebtekar, and many others. These enriching collaborations have significantly contributed to my professional journey. My works have been featured at various editions of the Venice Biennale Musica, the IEM in Graz, Teatro Palladio in Rome, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and broadcasted by Rai Radio 3, Boiler Room TV, XLR8R, NTS, KCRW, and Radio France.
